St Luke’s is one of the most overcrowded hospitals in the country this morning
30 patients are waiting for beds at the General Hospital for Carlow and Kilkenny, according to figures from the Irish Nurses & Midwives Organisation.
21 are in the Emergecy Department while 9 others are on wards.
The highest number are wating in University Hospital Limerick at 114, followed by St Vincents University Hospital in Dublin, where 41 people are waiting for a bed.
