The remains of a body which was recovered off the Waterford coast last August have been positively identified.
The body was recovered by a French trawler 20 miles off Mine Head on the Waterford coast on August the 28th of last year and brought ashore at Ballycotton in East Cork.
A post-mortem was subsequently conducted at Cork University Hospital.
A Garda spokesperson confirmed that a date for a Coroner’s Inquest has not yet been finalised.
