The Chairperson of Carlow Older Persons Council, Joe Butler, says community roadshows play a vital role in connecting older people with services and supports available to them.
Speaking at their latest event in Ballinkillen today, he highlighted the importance of face-to-face engagement and praised the range of agencies taking part, including ALONE and Carlow County Council.
Mr Butler said the roadshows help improve quality of life for older people and ensure they can access the information and assistance they need.
