Gardaí out in force today tackling uninsured drivers

Gardaí have seized a car after its driver was found to be uninsured during a national day of action targeting uninsured motorists.

The Opel Insignia was stopped by the Kilkenny Roads Policing Unit just one hour into the operation.

Gardaí are reminding drivers that insurance is a legal requirement, and uninsured vehicles will be impounded.
