Kilkenny will once again host the start and finish of Rás na mBan international race this September.
The 2026 edition features three brand-new stages, including a summit finish on Mount Leinster, with racing also visiting Carlow, Wexford and a return to Carrick-on-Suir.
Billed as Ireland’s premier international women’s stage race, it celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.
The five-day event will begin and end in Kilkenny and features its biggest route overhaul in years, with three brand-new stages, two new host locations and a return to Carrick-on-Suir, where the race’s origins can be traced back to 1986.
A new summit finish at Mount Leinster’s Corrabut Gap is also included, while the popular final-day time trial and circuit race around Kilkenny Castle remain unchanged.
