The Newpark Hotel in Kilkenny has been recognised as one of Ireland’s Best Workplaces.
It follows an independent employee survey carried out by the Great Place to Work organisation, which assessed workplace culture, leadership and staff experience across more than 1,700 hospitality businesses.
Other hotels in Kilkenny to achieve the status were The Pembroke Hotel and Mount Juliet.
People and Culture Manager Mary O’Neill says the recognition reflects the hotel’s commitment to listening to staff feedback and continually improving the workplace, “I knew we had put in a lot of the work, but to get the call and to be told, you know, your participation’s up, your scores are up. I’m so proud, I’m so happy for the team though. You know, everybody puts in a huge effort.”
