Kilkenny Rose Rachel Walsh has presented a new Little Blue Heroes uniform to the charity’s newest member in Kilkenny, young Luca.

Garda Lisa Mullins says the initiative supports children facing serious challenges, with ten children currently involved in the Kilkenny programme.

The Gardaí organise activities throughout the year, including Emergency Services Day, Christmas and Easter events, with a mini-graduation planned for November. The programme aims to bring a smile to children and their families during difficult times.
