Emergency services called to incident on M9 in County Kilkenny

There were no injuries in a car fire on the M9 yesterday.

Gardaí and fire service personnel were called to the incident at lunchtime in the northbound lane just north of Junction 8 at Bennettsbridge.

The blaze was extinguished and the vehicle’s occupants are okay.
