A Kilkenny Councillor’s called for two new roads in the county.
At the Callan Thomastown municipal district meeting Joe Lyons made the case for a new route linking the N76 Callan Kilkenny Road with the M9 motorway to ease the impact of traffic in and around Burnchurch.
It comes as two new driver feedback signs have recently been installed on the L1015, just off the N76 at the ‘bad bends’ at Ballymack, – one of five safety features installed between the N76 and the M9.
Cllr Lyons also sought to ease the increasingly busy Mill Street/West Street in Callan town, where his own business is based.
