More business closures for Kilkenny as clothing alterations shop set to close

Another local business in Kilkenny has announced it is to close its doors.

The Zip Yard Kilkenny has confirmed it will shut permanently on Saturday, 3rd October, citing unforeseen circumstances.

In a statement to customers, the clothing alteration service located in Irishtown, has thanked the public for their loyalty and support over the years.

Operations, however, will continue at their branch in Carlow.

It comes as John Joe Cullen’s Butcher on John Street is due to close their doors for the final time later today as the well known butcher announced his retirement earlier this week.
