Two local towns took home national trophies at the IPB Pride of Place Awards gala in Dublin last night.
Tullow secured a major victory by winning the national title for towns with a population over five thousand, while the Graiguenamanagh Community Group won the national category for populations between one and two thousand.
The other local entries, Ballymurphy in Carlow, alongside Muckalee, Slieverue, and the Kilkenny Older Persons Council missed out on top spots on the night.
