Cody never had doubts about continuing as Kilkenny boss

Kilkenny hurling manager Brian Cody has revealed he never had any doubts about continuing as the county senior hurling boss despite a disappointing 2013.

The long serving Cats boss is preparing for a 16th season at the helm with the Walsh cup campaign getting underway later this month.

Speaking in today’s Irish examiner the James Stephens man says he never saw the county senior job as a burden and enjoys the excitement surrounding the role.
