A number of Carlow students have been shortlisted for All Ireland Awards for the Young social Innovators.
Young people from the Presentation College Askea and St. Leo’s College have been named to contend for the “Young Social Innovators of the Year 2014” title.

Presentation College, Askea have three shortlisted projects including one focused on raising the awareness of cyber bullying.
Meanwhile St. Leo’s College’s project, entitled “You are the author of your own life” involves promoting positive mental health in their school and local community.
The new title holders will be announced at the 13th Annual Showcase at the Citywest Convention Centre on the 7th of May.
