Recycle your Easter eggs packaging

If you are surrounded by boxes of empty Easter eggs today the advise is that most of the packaging is recyclable.

Many of the most popular brands committed to less packaging in recent years but with millions of chocolate eggs sold for Easter you’re bound to be left with foil wrappers or cardboard boxes at the very least.

Powerstown and Dunmore are closed for the Bank Holiday weekend.

Carlow local authorities  says you can bring most of it to recycling when they re-open on Wednesday.
