39 million euro is being allocated for job cuts at local authorities as Irish Water gets up and running.
It’s being slated to cover 11 hundred voluntary redundancies, however no details have been released.

The new semi-state company is taking over the water system from city and county councils, and the Taoiseach told the Dail earlier this year that 2000 staff would leave the system by 2025.
