The Mount Wolseley Hotel and Country Club in Tullow has gone into examinership.

Management at the hotel confirmed to KCLR news that a judge has appointed Ian Lawlor of JPA Brenson Lawlor to carry out the process.

They had sought protection from creditors to try to put a rescue plan in place to save 175 jobs there.
