Events continue today to honour a Carlow Born silent film maker.
Taylorfest got underway yesterday to honour William Desmond Taylor who was born in 1872, moved to America when he was 18 and became an actor and director of over 60 silent films.
He was then murdered in 1922 and his case was never solved.
One of tonight’s highlights is musician Duke Special performing at Visual and organiser Marc Ivan O’ Gorman says he’s a great fit for the festival.
