Carlow County Board has appointed new managers to both the County senior hurling and senior football teams.
Turlough O Brien of Eire Og , has been appointed to manage the Carlow Senior Footballers. He served as team coach under Anthony Rainbow during the 2014 Championship campaign.
He has previously managed Eire Og to numerous county titles and also managed Carlow minors and U21’s in the past.
His backroom team will be supported by the inclusion of former Galway All Ireland winning manager John O Mahony in an advisory role.
Pat English from Ballinkillen Hurling Club will take charge of the senior Hurlers after managing the under 21 Hurlers for the past two years.
John Allen, former Cork and Limerick Hurling manager will work with him and the backroom team in an advisory capacity.
