Carlow speakers at International Men's Sheds conference

Men’s Sheds are a great way of socialising and getting jobs done for local community initiatives and public services.

Thats according to Michael Nicholson, member and Treasurer of Carlow Men’s Shed.

He was speaking after the first ever International confernce for the Irish Men’s Shed’s Association on Saturday.

Men’s Shed groups have become popular social and community outlets for men of all ages throughout the country.

The President of Ireland, Michael D Higgins is a patron of IMSA and was the key note speaker at the conference.
