Despite the wet weather which continues to hit Leinster today, it is likely to be a pleasant August for Carlow and Kilkenny.
Thats according to local forecaster Niall Dollard from Kilkenny weather dot com who says temperatures will start to creep back up again and it will stay quite mind.
The UK on the other hand have just had their hottest July on record but now face lots of rain.
Niall Dollard says the signs are good for Ireland.

Roads users are being urged to allow extra time for travelling following large amounts of rainfall -of up to 50 millimetres- in some parts this morning.
Met Éireann has issued two weather warnings -with a status orange alert in place in Leinster and counties Cavan and Monaghan until 6am tomorrow morning. While, a status yellow rainfall warning remains in place for Tipperary and Waterford.
