No 2015 Ploughing boost for Tullow as NPA confirms a return to Ratheniska

Tullow will have to wait if its to host the National Ploughing championships again.

The 2015 event is returning to Ratheniska for a third successive year. It was officially confirmed yesterday.

Tullow had been in the running although it emerged last week that it probably wouldn’t happen this time.

The Ratheniska site near Stradbally proved hugely popular drawing record crowds this year.

Next years event will take place from the 22nd to 24th September.
