People in Kilkenny are being urged to repair before replacing their old household items today.
The first of 3 Repair Cafés in the country will be open in MacDonagh Junction from 3-5 today and you can bring in your broken items and they’ll be fixed for free.

The initiative is being developed by the Southern Region Waste Management Office and speaking to KCLR, coordinator Pauline McDonagh says it’s not just about repairing items but also developing skills.
