Kilkenny mother disappointed with Transport Minister over new speed limit guidelines

A Kilkenny mother has voiced her disappointment with the Transport Minister over his failure to introduce legislation to enforce new speed limits.

Roseann Brennan has been actively campaigning for a reduction in speed limits in residential areas since her 6 year old son Jake died last summer.

Today Pascal Donohoe introduced a 30km an hour limit with an option for local authorities to lower it if they wish.

But Roseann says that wont apply to private estates like hers.
