Appeal for witnesses after serious assault in Kilkenny City

Gardaí in Kilkenny are looking for your help after a serious assault took place in the early hours of this morning.

The incident occurred on John Street in the City between 2.45 and 3 am.

The victim, a male, was taken to hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.
