The Samaritans in Carlow and Kilkenny were given a special gift last night at a fundraising event for the Ballyhale Shamrocks GAA club in Cillín Hill.
The event honoured their senior hurlers in particular who won their 6th All-Ireland club championship title in Croke Park on Tuesday.

A representative from the Samaritans charity was presented with a special Ballyhale Shamrocks jersey signed by the entire team.
Speaking to KCLR News, volunteer Teresa Brennan says they will most likely auction it off but before that it will be put on display.
