Those living with or at risk of heart disease in Carlow and Kilkenny could soon see waiting times for consultants and doctors cut in half.
New ‘eHealth’ technology is being introduced around the country whereby patients will be able to consult with their doctors via a skype-like service from their homes.
Over two thousand people in Kilkenny and 1 thousand people in Carlow are currently dealing with heart-related issues.
