Heed your speed for National Slowdown Day

A Garda operation asking local drivers to slow down is all about reducing injury and saving lives on our roads.

Nearly 60 people across the country were caught in the first few hours of National ‘Slow Down’ Day which kicked off at 7 this morning.

There will continue to be a ‘higher-than-normal’ Garda presence on our roads in Carlow and Kilkenny until tomorrow morning.
