Two local women left Carlow bound for Belarus this morning.
Sharon Connors and Annemarie Wall flew out from Shannon Airport at 9am.

They’re heading to Chernobyl, Belarus to offer aid and assistance for the next week.
Speaking to KCLR news before departing Irish Soil, Sharon outlined what they’ll be doing.
