New whiskey distillery for Carlow takes delivery of copper distilling pots

A new whiskey distillery for Carlow is taking a massive step forward today.

Three copper pots and steel distilling equipment weighing almost 30 tonnes
is arriving in on Lorries from Scotland to the Royal Oak as construction
continues ahead of its proposed opening early in the New Year.

It’s traveled the whole way from Scotland over the past 2 days where
they’re being specially made.

Owner Bernard Walsh says they had a bit of a ceremony today to mark the
occasion.
