Over 2,000 untaxed cars have Kilkenny registration

An estimated 2,291 vehicles being driven nationwide without tax are Kilkenny registered.

This new information was made available through a my vehicle.ie report published recently.

The report also found that 1.5% of vehicles written so far this year were also Kilkenny registered vehicles.

290 new vehicles were registered in the city between January and September of this year.

According to the report, black is the most popular colour car in Kilkenny, while Hyundai are the most common car brand.

The report was carried out to highlight the importance of conducting thorough background checks before purchasing a second-hand car.
