Mixed reaction locally to 2nd year of free preschool

The government are “putting the horse before the cart” by introducing a 2nd year of free preschool.

So says a local preschool worker in Kilkenny who is heavily criticising the government for not providing greater funding for educating and training workers in the sector first.

Katherine Lennon who works in the Early Years section of the Fr McGrath Centre says this is something that should have been dealt with.
