There’s criticism of Irish Water after some homes in Graiguenamanagh were left without water for up to 5 days.
A new water treatment plant was finally installed last week and the utility says that it takes a number of days for the plant to fill up completely – meaning water was in short supply to houses in the area over the weekend.
However, local Fianna Fáil Councillor, Peter Cleere, says it’s the fact that people weren’t told by the company how long they’d be without water that’s annoyed them the most.
