A Kilkenny doctor says local practices are feeling the strain of years of budget-cuts.
A survey released this week has shown that the average waiting time for a doctor’s appointment is now between 5 and 10 days depending on the size of the surgery.
Speaking to KCLR News, Dr Tadhg Crowley says this will come as no surprise to most doctors.
And he expects that the pressure on GP’s locally will more than likely worsen in the next few years.
