Jackie Tyrrell to stay on with Kilkenny Hurlers in 2016

Theres good news for Kilkenny Hurling with Jackie Tyrrell saying this weekend he has no plans to retire this year.

Speaking in TV at the weekend, the 33-year-old corner back says he’ll play on in 2016 if selected by Brian Cody.

The current longest-serving member of the Kilkenny senior hurling team told the Saturday Show recently that he was considering retiring but the James Stephens man will continue, but as he said thats if he’s picked for the panel by manager Brian Cody.
