‘Look after yourself’ is the message for men across Carlow and Kilkenny

Men across Carlow and Kilkenny are being urged to look after themselves – as International Men’s Health week begins.

Irish men are experiencing higher death rates than women – and they die on average four and a half years younger.

Local men are being encouraged to make small changes to their lifestyles and life choices.

To mark international men’s health week, a free magazine has been launched with tips on leading a healthier life.

It’s available on www.mhfi.org.
