A Carlow/Kilkenny TD has called the homless situation in the Country as “Unacceptable”

Jennifer Murnane O’Connor has said that one person homeless is one too many.

In September, a total of 14,760 people were in emergency accommodation, reflecting an increase of 274 compared to the previous month. Among those in emergency accommodation, 4,561 were children.

Deputy Murnane O’Connor told KCLR News more homes are required.
