Taisiia (Toya) Korenska moved here two years ago fleeing the war in her home country

She will now go on to study biomedical engineering at Dublin City University after receiving 625 points in her Leaving Certificate
She was among the 57,000 students who received an offer of a college place on the first round of CAO offers

Speaking on the KCLR Daily, Toya said she was extremely grateful for the support she received from her host family, her school and her friends.
