A South Kilkenny Councillor Says The N24 Must Be a Priority For The Government

South Kilkenny Councillor Pat Dunphy has voiced his disappointment over the government’s failure to secure funding for the N24 Cahir to Waterford upgrade.

A €2.2 million funding request was made to Transport Infrastructure Ireland, but it was not included in the over €6.5 million announced last week.

In November 2023, a preferred route for one of the country’s most dangerous roads was put out for public consultation, but no further progress has been made since.
