A local Carlow girl needs your support to get life changing stem cell treatment.
Yvonne Geoghan from Bagenalstown was diagnosed with Multiple Scleroris (MS) in 2019 at the age of 25. MS attacks the immune system leading to unpredictable and often permanent symptoms.
Yvonne has set up a go fund me page to get stem cell treatment in Mexico in order to get some quality of normal life.
Me Geoghan says ” I have recently been accepted for a HSCT treatment in Mexico. This treatment has a high success rate and is designed to halt MS and, essentially, stop it in it’s tracks, along with the possibility of repairing some of the damaged nerves”.
Unfortunately, due to funding issues, this treatment isn’t available to MS patients in Ireland.
