Junior infants across both counties started their first day of school this morning, with plenty of excitement and some nervousness.
At Glenmore National School, four children began junior infants, one of the lowest numbers the school has had in many years.
There were no tears just lots of laughs and high fives for the teachers as the new academic year got underway.
