The countdown to the 2025 Allianz Leagues has begun, with fixtures now confirmed for Carlow and Kilkenny’s hurlers and footballers. 

Kilkenny Hurlers Begin Division 1A Campaign

Kilkenny’s journey in Division 1A kicks off with an away clash against Clare at Cusack Park, Ennis, on Sunday, January 26th, at 2:00 PM. Under the leadership of Derek Lyng, the Cats will look to build momentum early in what promises to be a fiercely competitive group.

  • Round 1: Sunday 26 January – Clare v Kilkenny, Cusack Park, 2:00 PM
  • Round 2: Sunday 2 February – Kilkenny v Galway, UPMC Nowlan Park, 1:45 PM
  • Round 3: Saturday 8 February – Wexford v Kilkenny, Chadwicks Wexford Park, 5:30 PM
  • Round 4: Sunday 23 February – Kilkenny v Limerick, UPMC Nowlan Park, 1:45 PM
  • Round 5: Sunday 1 March – Cork v Kilkenny, Páirc Uí Chaoimh, 5:00 PM
  • Round 6: Saturday 8 March – Kilkenny v Tipperary, UPMC Nowlan Park, 1:15 PM

Carlow Hurlers Ready for Division 1B Challenge

Carlow hurlers will face a tough test in Division 1B as they open their campaign against Offaly at O’Connor Park, Tullamore, on Saturday, January 25th, at 2:00 PM. With a mix of home and away games, Carlow will aim to prove their mettle against formidable opposition.

Carlow’s Division 1B fixtures:

  • Round 1: Saturday 25 January – Offaly v Carlow, O’Connor Park, 2:00 PM
  • Round 2: Saturday 1 February – Carlow v Waterford, Netwatch Cullen Park, 6:00 PM
  • Round 3: Sunday 23 February – Laois v Carlow, Laois Hire O’Moore Park, 2:00 PM
  • Round 4: Sunday 2 March – Carlow v Antrim, Netwatch Cullen Park, 2:30 PM

Carlow Footballers Begin Division 4 Journey

The Carlow footballers will start their Division 4 campaign at home, welcoming Tipperary to Netwatch Cullen Park on Saturday, January 25th, at 6:00 PM. New manager Shane Curran side will aim to deliver strong performances both at home and on the road as they target promotion.

Carlow’s Division 4 fixtures:

  • Round 1: Saturday 25 January – Carlow v Tipperary, Netwatch Cullen Park, 6:00 PM
  • Round 2: Sunday 2 February – Waterford v Carlow, Fraher Field, 2:00 PM
