EU Commissioner and Kilkenny man Phil Hogan has been presented with a medal of honour by the Republic of Austria.
The former Environment Minister was awarded one of Austria’s highest national honours at a ceremony in Brussels.
He was presented with the honour by Austria’s Minister for Agriculture Andrä Rupprechter yesterday.
