Bagenalstown Gardaí warn people to be wary of people calling to their house at the moment

Gardaí in Bagenalstown are warning locals to be cautious of people calling to their homes – especially in rural areas.

It’s after they received a number of reports from people of two men with a trailer driving into people’s front yards today, reportedly looking for scrap metal.

It’s understood the same two – who are not believed to be from the locality – had called to one of the houses close to midnight last week.

Bagenalstown Gardaí currently have a vehicle out patrolling the area but they’re urging you not to entertain anyone calling to your house at the moment that you don’t know.
