A street in Carlow has been named the luckiest street in Ireland by the National Lottery!
The top ten luckiest streets in the country when it comes to winning big in the lotto have been revealed.
In February of this year, a group of friends bought a Euromillions ticket in Eason’s at the Fairgreen Shopping Centre on Barrack Street in Carlow.
Little did they know when they bought it that they were buying their lotto ticket on the luckiest street in Ireland!
The syndicate of friends won a massive €66m.
The National Lottery has given Barrack Street the top spot on its list of the 10 luckiest streets in the country.
Station Road in Portarlington, Main Street Belmullet, Fountain Street in Waterford and Dublin’s North King Street are also included in the top 10.
