The death has taken place of Donal (Donie) Gorey,
Raheny, Dublin 5 and formerly of Barrettstown, Knocktopher, Co. Kilkenny.
Peacefully, in the exceptional care of the staff of Care Choice Nursing Home, Northern Cross, Dublin, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, 8th April 2025.
Reposing at Stafford’s Funeral Home, Portmarnock, Dublin (Eircode D13 EOA2) on Thursday, 10th April from 2pm to 4pm followed by removal to The Carmelite Church, Knocktopher, Kilkenny (Eircode R95 AP2K), arriving at 7.30pm.
Requiem Mass on Friday morning, 11th April at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
