The death has taken place of The Right Reverend Monsignor Kieron J. Kennedy,
Episcopal Vicar for Social and Family Affairs, Parish Priest of Freshford, Co. Kilkenny.
Unexpectedly, but peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, 10th June 2025.
Monsignor Kieron’s funeral will arrive at St. Lachtain’s Church, Freshford, (Eircode R95 K003) on Saturday, 14th June at 7pm, reposing in the church overnight.
Funeral Prayers on Sunday, 15th June at 5.30pm followed by removal to St. Mary’s Cathedral, Kilkenny, (Eircode R95 CP46), arriving for reception prayers at 7pm.
Requiem Mass will take place on Monday, 16th June at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Foulkstown Cemetery, Kilkenny (Eircode R95 A891).
