Bob Geldof is coming to Borris this summer

Bob Geldof has been announced as one of the speakers at an annual literary festival in Carlow this year.

Some of the line-up for the Borris Festival of Writing and Ideas has been announced and it will see award-winning authors like Margaret Atwood, Jon McGregor and Rachel Kushner all attending.

Comedian and actress Deirdre O’Kane will also be bringing the humour to the event which runs from the 8th to the 10th of June.
