Bobby Aylward has hit out at a review of the School Transport Scheme, claiming more children could lose their bus pass in the months ahead.

His comments come after a report carried out by the Department of Education proposed no changes be made to the existing scheme.

Deputy Aylward says the group tasked with reviewing the scheme only ever met twice – and they only had one meeting between September and the Budget.

Speaking to KCLR, Deputy Aylward says it’s just not acceptable.
