Proposals to extend the Carlow county boundary into Laois are causing a stir now.
The same review that is looking at the Waterford-Kilkenny border is also examining the need to bring parts of Graiguecullen into the Carlow local authority area

Laois Fianna Fail TD Sean Fleming wants the process stopped. He raised the matter in the Dail yesterday questioning why its an issue that keeps coming up.
But Carlow Fianna Fail Councillor Jennifer Murnane O Connor says she thinks a boundary review is the only solution now.
