Broadband problems in rural Ireland brought to the fore once again

The long-running problem of broadband in Ireland – and in rural Ireland especially – is back in the spotlight again.
A new worldwide study has put Ireland 36th – making us one of the worst countries in Europe for broadband speeds.
Kilkenny farmer Páraic Brennan lives in Clara where he says broadband is all but nonexistant, which is a huge hindrance to him and the running of his farm.
Speaking to KCLR, Páraic says they’ve had to make the best of a bad situation.
